Cathance River Education Alliance - CREA
If you grew up in the area, there's a chance you spent time at the quarries in Topsham. The old roads are now trails for CREA. This little gem is tucked into the back of The Highlands. If you aren't watching closely, you will drive right by and wonder how you could have missed it. Look for a small set of stairs, a small sign, and a few parking spaces. We decided to enjoy a sunny afternoon in mid-October at CREA. Armed with colored pencils, clipboards, and paper, we headed out to do some relaxing and drawing. Everyone was awed by the beauty and knowing that this was in our "backyard." After hanging out at a dock on a small pond, we ended up at the river. It was a great afternoon!
